Bassett Rescue Squad is offering 36 hours of BLS Continuing Education on the 4 Saturdays of May. Get all your required EMT Continuing Education (Category 1 & 2) in a period of 4 weeks, May 4, 11, 18 & 25. Classes will start at 8:00 am and finish at 6:00 pm with an hour break for lunch. Franklin County Public Safety and Franklin County agencies and their Auxilaries are again offering a MEGA CE weekend, October 11 - 13, 2013 at The Franklin Center, 50 Claiborne Ave Rocky Mount, VA. Franklin County will be hosting a VAVRS Infectious Disease Control Officer course as part of their MEGA CE Weekend on October 12, 2013, from 9am to 5pm. The prequisite course Basic Infection Disease Control course will be offered on Friday October 11, 2013, from 6pm to 10pm for those who have not taken this.
